Digital Precision Inclinometer Unit

xInc digital inclinometer product image

xInc® is a precision inclinometer designed for Structural Health Monitoring (SHM) applications. For that purpose, it provides real‑time, high‑accuracy inclination measurements essential for assessing the safety and stability of critical civil infrastructure such as dams, bridges, wind turbines, towers, and high‑rise buildings.

The xInc digital inclinometer has a rugged IP67 aluminum housing. Digitex Systems designed it for permanent installations in harsh environments.

In this way, Digitex Sentry System seamlessly integrates the xInc digital inclinometer, while the latter streams inclination data in real time to Voyager® software, where it can be visualized, stored, and analyzed. Optional threshold alarms support proactive maintenance by notifying users when inclination levels exceed predefined limits, enabling risk mitigation and rapid response. It can also act as a wireless inclinometer.

The xInc digital precision inclinometer unit combines a configurable inclinometer and optional accelerometer channels. This way, it delivers flexibility for both static tilt monitoring and dynamic response measurements. The high‑precision inclinometer offers accuracy as fine as ±0.005° with in‑band noise levels of 0.001°/√Hz, covering ranges up to ±10° in high‑precision mode or ±90° in low‑precision mode.

Additionally, optional accelerometer channels extend monitoring capability for combined tilt and vibration applications. On top of that, the configurable sampling rates from 1 SPS to 1000 SPS, xInc is adaptable for slow‑moving structural changes as well as dynamic seismic or wind‑induced events.

Lastly, you can choose to stream the data in real time via Ethernet, DigiMESH®, GSM/4G or utilize the Wi-Fi option as a wireless inclinometer and store data locally on optional SD/eMMC cards in MiniSEED format. At the end, the GPS or DigiSync® technology ensures precise time synchronization across the distributed monitoring networks.
